Filthy Fucking Friday

Excision & Liquid Stranger- Let's Get to the Point (Rekoil Remix) .mp3
If you're into war, I have a feeling you'll probably be into this. Lock & Load maggot

8====> Rekoil's soundcloud

This is what it's going to sound like once They invade us. Get familiar with it.

8====> Antiserum's soundcloud

Dayn- Goliath (VIP Edit) .mp3
Dreadful Dayn gettin down and dirty as always. This buildup made me somewhat uncomfortable, scared to be honest. Then this Megatron of a drop blasts in annihilating everything in its path and shitting everywhere. This one's got that old Datsik effect. Sick shit.

Excision: Brutal

Excision shreds some brutal guitar riffs and hits us with that dirty heavy metal & dubstep combo. The two genres are meant to be, and this is all the proof you need.

Excision, Downlink & Ajapai: Before The Sun

Jesus H. Christ. I know what you're thinking. Excision, Downlink, AND Ajapai? On ONE track!? It is madness, but true madness. This one's going to cost the government a couple hundred billy to repair the damages it caused. Honestly don't even turn this up all the way it's bad for your ears.

For you Chicago cats who are going to be in town on January 13th, Downlink and CENOB1TE will be throwing down hard at the Logan Square Auditorium. Click hurr for ticket info.

Excision: X-Rated LP

Excision's first album was just released recently. I always thought he had previous albums, but I guess I was wrong. The 10 track album shows the old Excision, which I love, and also the new Excision, which is somewhat gay. When I saw that Excision and Datsik had a new song together ("Jaguar") I nearly soiled my shorts. Unfortunately, it was a huge embarrassment. There's not even a drop... This song is a horrible attempt of taking a really gay rock song and mixing it with a poppy Indian man's singing with horrible monotone. Please skip this song. However, songs like X Rated, Ohh Nooo, Excute, SeXism, Deviance, 8 bit superhero make up for the atrocious sounds of "Jaguar". Seriously don't listen to that song. It pisses me off.

Excision: Shambhala Mix 2011 (FILTH-EE!)

Every year, dubheads around the world wait long and hard for the brutal Shambhala mixes to be released. The reason for this is simple: because these mixes contain some of the dirtiest material the ear has ever heard. Excision, as always, takes over our brains with this overwhelmingly overwhelming and beautifully intense mix. A lot of good new material I have never heard of is on this mix. Each year, these mixes seem to represent the status of the years dubstep, and this year, we can clearly tell that dubstep is not dying, but remaining true and gritty. A quick glance at the tracklist and the artists should be enough to make you fear for your life. Do not download this unless you are absolutely prepared and experienced.

Excision & Downlink: Blue Steel

Just give me a hot minute to find/fix my eardrums and place my brain back in it's socket.
Children, go somewhere far far away. This is not for you. This extreme banger came off Excisions X Sessions Vol. 1 Mix and instantly made me and everyone I was with poop our pants. This is that shit that makes you want to run red lights at full speed while laughing like a mad scientist without caring about what is coming. If I get in a bike accident sometime soon, I can tell you right now it probably wasn't the car drivers fault just as much as it wasn't mine. Excision and Downlink are to blame. Really though what I'm trying to say is that this is a killer track (almost literally) and that you should CRANK THIS SHIT AT FULL VOLUME OR YOU"RE DOING IT WRONG! Do it. But wear a helmet.

Excision & Datsik: 8 Bit Superhero

There is a reason why Excision & Datsik are a great duo. That reason is because they are Canadian. I felt like Mario beating up bloopers while listening to this video gamey sounding track, a feeling I always wished I could live. This one isn't as filthy as some tracks they've worked on in the past, but it still gets the job done. Hit up the free DL ya hear?

Liquid Stranger

I've been listening to Liquid Stranger for a little over a year now, and I am loving his transition of style between chill reggae influenced songs and heavy "stringy" bass songs. He reminds us that dubstep is not all about the filth and takes us back to its roots. Liquid Stranger is my favorite artist of the day.
The song "Deep Down Below" is incredibly chill; to enhance the experience, I highly recommend that you follow these simple steps:
1. Grab some stanky.
2. Light some stanky.
3. Make sure to listen to this with some headphones. You wouldn't want to exclude the bass now would you?
4. Enjoy...
5. Then listen to the rest of these monster tracks by LS down below...
...deep down below

Chill:

The Whomp Masters

Meet the whomp-masters/gods: Excision & Datsik.

They are one of the best, if not the best, dubstep duos out there today. If you can find a better duo, I will fly, run, swim to wherever it is you are, and pay you. They always manage to make extremely, extremely ill tunes, even when working on their own or with other artists. If you are new to dubstep, DO NOT forget these names. After all, it'll be hard to forget them after listening to just a few tracks.
